YogaKave appointed us to help expand their thriving hot yoga business in the heart of Bath. Having outgrown their existing upper-floor studio, the opportunity to take over the former restaurant below offered room for their growing community.
Our design brought the two floors together through a new internal staircase, opening up the former restaurant to create a spacious new yoga studio. The project transformed two separate premises into a connected home for the business, providing the space needed for its next chapter.
A key design challenge was the lower floor’s connection to an adjoining listed building. We retained and exposed the historic walls, making the existing fabric an integral part of the interior and giving the new studio a distinctive character rooted in its setting.
The completed project has supported YogaKave’s continued success, giving an ambitious local business room to grow while bringing fresh life to an existing city-centre space.
