Our second project on Purlewent Drive was to create a mixed social/work/music practice space from the existing garage. Through careful examination of the existing site, an inwards looking extension helped us form this stunning addition to the house.
The shape of this building allows it to face back towards the main house, while delineating a focal courtyard for social engagements.
The building was completed in 2023 with a very special jazz concert opening, with a band playing inside the building to many guests during the special evening.
