The existing house currently lacked any real connection with the outbuilding. The brief was to create a modern link between the house and outbuilding, but to also renovate the internal spaces to form open plan living and rearrange the utility spaces for more comfortable living.
We created a bespoke, semi covered ‘up and over’ timber link with seating integrated into the slats. The staircase to the first floor was renewed and adopted into the living space where masonry wall previously existed.
We acquired both Planning permission and Building Regulations approval and is due to start on site soon.
