The brief was to convert an existing garage into a new, useable ancillary space to the existing main house.
With permission granted in 2020, this garage was nominally raised to provide decent headroom and high levels of insulation to ensure a great little space. The existing stone was overclad in timber, and dark framed windows and roof were introduced to provide contrast.
This building has now become a successful Airbnb location in Bath.
